Winter Wreaths

I have been wanting to make these for years, but because I have two GIANT doors, (not complaining-I love them) to make/buy wreaths can get pricey! It means I have to buy TWO of a lot of stuff! I searched and searched ideas on Pinterest (the best thing that's ever happened to me!) as I do every year after Christmas. I take down my Christmas wreaths and really hate to put up my Spring wreaths months before spring. So there I went hoping to find something that would trigger my creative juices and put me on the right path. This year I decided to FINALLY just go for it!! I didn't have an exact idea in mind.. So I went on my hunt… the fun part! I searched all the Christmas sales…Tai Pan and Joannes and Michaels I rummaged through decor that was 75% to 80% off (I was seriously giddy)… sifting through all their left over Christmas decor. I looked frantically for snow flakes or snow covered pinecones, anything that looked wintery minus the Christmas! These are the few things I found pictured below. I was so pleased with how they turned out and for the price I made them for... $25.00 each! Can't beat that! I get so GIDDY about making cute crafts on SUPER CLEARENCE stuff!

In the future, on this blog I will document each step of the project! Just getting started! Yippee! Mrs. H

Teacher Appreciation Gifts

These CUTE pencils I made a couple years ago to give as gifts to my kids Teachers. I got the idea from HERE I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! I am thinking of making them again this year??
